SciVal Attribution Guide

The SciVal logos to be used for labeling purposes can be downloaded from the SciVal info-site. The images can be resized to fit your website design, but proportions must be maintained and it must be large enough to be legible.

1. Metrics for institutions and researchers on your website

When SciVal metrics are displayed on your website, SciVal must be mentioned as the source of data on each individual web page where SciVal data appears.

2. SciVal data in Academic Research

A reference or footnote should be added to the research output acknowledging SciVal as a data source, adhering to common data and website citation practices (e.g. MLA, APA, etc.).

Example:
The data was downloaded from SciVal API between September 15 and 30, 2015 via http://api.elsevier.com and http://www.scival.com and include Scopus data up to September 5.
